After upgrading a mac from 10.4 to 10.5, Firefox 3.6.8 crashes when trying to launch, giving an error stating "SQLite Version Error. The application has been updated, but your version of SQLite is too old and the application cannot run." Firefox unexpectedly quits, but will then launch if click the "relaunch" button. But this happens any time you try to start up Firefox.

Close Firefox, then start Firefox in Safe Mode, for instructions on starting in Safe Mode, see ((Safe Mode)).

After you start Firefox in Safe Mode try disabling extensions one by one to see what the problem is. To do that go to Tools>Addons>Extensions.
