Recently from time to time when we close Firefox and then later try to open it, it won't open. I will have to open the task manager and click on the "Processes" tab and it shows it running, so I click "end process" and try again and it works. It doesn't show up under "Applications" in Task Manager though. Why is it doing this all of a sudden?

Make sure that ZoneAlarm isn't blocking Firefox from closing properly.

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_hangs and Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix (Hang at exit)

What is the solution? If you can't find it I will delete Firefox and use IE from now on. I am currently using Firefox version 6.3.13..
