Hi! I wonder if there is a Firefox that runs on Android. Where do I find it? Not on Android Market obviously. And - will the Android version also allow for proxy to be set?

See https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android

It is in a early stage of development. If you choose to install it make sure you understand the implications of installing alpha build software, and that you meet the minimum system requirements.

To use a proxy in Firefox for Android ("Fennec"):

  1. Enter "about:config" in the address bar.
  2. Type "proxy.http" in the search field at the top of the about:config page.
  3. Set the "network.proxy.http" preference to the hostname of your proxy, and set the "network.proxy.http_port" preference to the correct port number.
