Firefox only saves 2 days history

My firefox had problem and only save history for 'today' and 'yesterday'. I had saved the settings under tools and history had been set to save at least 90 days. I had also went into about:config and make sure history is set to default value, which is 180 days.

I reformatted before and its a fresh installation so I assume it shouldn't be a virus problem.

Anyone has any solution would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Did you check both prefs?

Do you have cleanup software like CCleaner that can remove that data?

Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks.

  • Java Plug-in 1.5.0_06 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper)

Update the Java plugin to the latest version.

Yes I have tried all of them above as I had experienced the problem for a long time.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Yesterday I went into about:config and reset browser.history_expire_days.mirror After I reset it it disappeared from the about:config page but then it solved the problem.

Now I can see my history more than 7 days as I usually could!
