I recently discovered that my trackpad scroll function no longer works within Firefox. It works in other applications, including Google Chrome. I checked to make sure that the driver is up to date and I changed the settings in "about:config" as the previous help page suggested, to no avail. I have also tried restarting both Firefox and my computer, but didn't help either. I have never had this issue before, please advise. I have an Acer Aspire One D250 netbook running Windows 7. The only thing I can think of is that I installed a Citrix plugin earlier today in order to access a Virtual Desktop . . .

I just tried disabling the Citrix plugin, restarted Firefox, and I still have the same problem, though I am able to two-finger and one-finger scroll using my trackpad in Google Chrome.

I Had same problem. When I installed MS .net framework 3.5 it unknowingly added and extention to firefox. Had to manually remove it. Worked fine after that. There's a link 2 more info at bottom of post. I have Win7 Ultimate but hardly use it. I think .net 4 is natively installed though. Don't know of any firefox addons.

Just puttin it out there for peepz with different O/S's.
