Also when I am trying to submit a post, like the post I'm writing now, when I click submit or post firefox becomes unresponsive and I can only shut it down by ending the process firefox.exe through task manager. Just a moment ago it happened when I tried to submit this post. There are no crash reports when this happens. Only when I try my bookmarks.

thanks for any help, kopkins

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I don't have problems using my bookmarks. Only have trouble removing them. If I uninstalled and the reinstalled firefox would that potentially help?
