When in a HTML file I click a button like

Open <A HREF="NeQuidPeriret.pdf">Ne quid periret</A>

the PDF used to open when using Internet Explorer. In Firefox the only option given is to download the file (even if both HTML and PDF are on my own computer and created by myself).

How do I tell Firefox to open the PDF without any fuss?

I would be grateful for any suggestions.

The solution was easy, after all, but I have some difficulties explaining it in English because my version of Windows and Firefox are in Dutch. In Dutch, you do:

Extra > opties > toepassingen > PDF-EXChange viewer (my PDF viewer) > and change that into: PDF-EXChange viewer gebruiken, which means:

Tools > options > applications > PDF-EXChange viewer (my PDF viewer) > use PDF-EXChange viewer

(the actual English terms could be different)
