Hi

Firefox generate 3 GET requests to image instead 1 on server side.

For example:

I have a statistic script. This script show JPEG 1x1 image and

increase some counter. But in my logs I see three GET request instead of 1.

Second live example. I have online store with my pictures for sale

and I want to track picture downloads. So I give this pictures to my customers from script. And again, firefox generate many requests and break statistic.

On other browsers all is fine.

The helpers at that forum are more knowledgeable about web development issues.
You need to register at the mozillaZine forum site in order to post at that forum.
