A small window popup displayed the above message when I was browsing. I can find no info on a website "janeguard4.com" at McAfee SiteAdvisor or in Google searches for such a popup message.

I am rcla who made the first post. I tried to upload an image of the "warning" screen, but upload failed for this post. It was a fairly authentic copy of the My Computer screen, but different than mine. I found that the supposed "viruses" were false and .dll files listed as corrupt were OK. I ran a deep virus check (Avast AV) and "No Threat Found." So, it was a SCAM. When I closed the browser window a popup falsely stated "The website http://c893326ff.janeguard4.com is a known virus site." and tried to get me to go back and click on their link to fix it. I did not fall for the bait!

You may be given false alarms at sometimes, depending upon the page content. It sometimes happens. I did a double check with Chrome and it tells the same.

Something sketchy.

I had the same message appear. It resized my window to the smallest possible size (not minimize!) and when I resized it larger, it had opened a new tab with that message. It was on "c510a1.minersaver1.com" which sounds like a related site. It tried to download "avmast_2004-4_mst5.exe"and I was going to try and refind this site on my Linux box, but forgot to save the exact URL (oops!).

Running Firefox 4.0b11 on 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium.
