Firefox seems to be using too much RAM?? I have an Old Dell with about 500K ram..with a 4 gig of ROM. but I have only used 1/4 of the available space on my computer.

I think you mean 500Mb of RAM. Technically that should be more than sufficient for Firefox 3.6, but what about all the other programs that you have installed, some of which might be running at startup?

Have you looked at the Windows Task Manager > Processes tab to see how much RAM Firefox is actually using? And to see how many other processes are running and using RAM, that you aren't even aware are running?
