How to cancel an annoying new wallpaper I clicked in response to an unusual menu which appeared when I opened Firefox.

To access the internet, I click on "Firefox" in my starter menu. Recently, after I did this, I was presented with a menu apparently inviting me to select a choice of background designs. I selected one, and it now appears whenever I have my Fierfox internet function running. It is an annoying design, not least because most of it is covered by the main part of the Firefox page. Only the top of the new design is visible, and it makes the top four rows of icons and buttons harder to read. How can I switch it off?

That sounds like a persona (light weight theme).

To switch to the default theme, if using the old style menus, in the Tools menu select Add-ons. If using the Firefox button, click on it and then select Add-ons.

In the add-ons manager go to the Appearance section, then in the list of themes click on the default theme to select it. Finally click on the Enable button to switch to the default theme.

Dear Tony E

Thanks. It worked. The annoying add-on has gone!
