I want to see some of the icons of my desktop while I am in my browser, just like I see Facebook, Eby, Weather and other icons. I have Windows XP and use the new Yahoo enhanced Mozilla Firefox Browser.

Double click the title bar and then make the browser smaller by grabbing the bottom right hand corner with the left mouse button and resizing it.

Then hold down CTRL and click the Close button (X). When you reopen it, it will retain the size you chose. You can also grab the title bar with the left mouse button and move it around.

By the way, update Java via Windows Control Panel | Java | Update and then click the Update Now button. The version you're running at the moment is very old and potentially exposes your system to attack.
