I have a very elaborate mapping script written in PHP that requires a cut and paste from a website (an information screen on a website) to be taken and then pasted into a form.

The website itself has javascript "behind the scenes" that automatically was captured by a ctrl-a ctrl-c in firefox 3.6 but is not in 4.0

This makes this mapping script which is very much required incompatible with firefox and forces users to use the dreaded IE.

Is there a way to make 4.0 cut and paste function like it used to in 3.6?

A good place to ask questions and advice about web development is at the mozillaZine Web Development/Standards Evangelism forum.
The helpers at that forum are more knowledgeable about web development issues.
You need to register at the mozillaZine forum site in order to post at that forum.
