There is more than one method of searching in firefox, and I am not sure which of you searches are being affected. I think by default Yahoo is one of the options on the Firefox Search bar. The location bar, and any firefox start/search option are likely to use Google by default.

I note your system details include:
Yahoo Application State Plugin version 1.0.0.7

So I imagine you have some Yahoo plugin installed. I am making a guess that that could be involved with your problem. You may be able to uninstall or disable this from firefox, or you may need to use the Windows Control Panel, and the Uninstall Software option.
