In the url address window there are some icons on the far right, they do things like shorten url, copy url, etc. I added them. But a twitter icon has appeared that I did not add. How can I get rid of it?

The twitter icon appears in red and when I put my curser on it, it says post to twitter and has the number of characters left. I am not on twitter and do not plan to be. How can I remove this?

Thanks, I tried checking this out. It is the address bar icons that I want to change. I can get the customize option on the toolbar location but in the address bar when I right click all it does is highlight the url address. I tried dragging the twitter icon out of the address bar but that didn't change it.

Such a button must be added by an extension that you may not have noticed.
