how do i remove a site i visited from the dropdown address bar without removing other sites i often visit
In the address bar at the top where you would enter web address/url there is the arrow down to the right that will bring a dropdown menu of sites i often goto without open bookmarks or even having to bookmark. thats great but there are one or two i'd like to remove without having to delete all history. i've deleted associated cookies individually but they are still there. how do i remove only one?

- Start typing the name of the site until it appears in the drop-down list
- Hover the mouse over the one you want to remove so that it is highlighted
- Press the delete key

Entries in the location bar drop down list with a yellow (blue on Mac) star at the right end are bookmarks.
You can remove such a bookmarked item that shows in the list if you open that url in a tab and click the yellow star in the location bar.
This will open the "Edit This Bookmark" dialog and you can click the Remove button to remove the bookmark if you want to remove such a bookmarked entry.
Duh.... *smacks forehead with palm of hand* ,.... just hit delete... that's too easy...
No wonder I couldn't figure iit out.Thank You.
