Hi, I've just updated to 5.0 and have done a bit of customising but I need to change the bookmark toolbar font colour. I cannot locate the Chrome directory or the UserChrome.css file. So.... how do I change it?

You might have to create the chrome directory in your profile. You can find your profile by searching for cookies.sqlite. It will be in that directory. Create a subdirectory in there named "chrome", and create the userChrome.css file with a text editor and put it in there. The application is case sensitive, so use the pattern of upper and lower case letters thst I just used. The userChrome.css file has to start with this line:

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");

Thank you. For anyone else who has this problem I did as instructed then put the following into userChrome.css

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");

  1. personal-bookmarks .toolbarbutton-text {
color: #E5E5E5 !important;

}
