I have an Asus transformer tablet with an azerty keyboard and firefox v4 and v5 are using a qwerty keyboard. This is very very annoying. There is another problem with the keyboard: when I press the del key, 2 characters are deleted instead of 1. Very annoying too! Especially when you are a french guy trying to write in english with an azerty keyboard, I press the del key very often :p

Hey Jxx7

Thanks for reporting this. There is currently an open bug investigating this issue.

As for the two character deletion, there is also an open bug investigating this issue.

For both bugs, I'm not sure if there's a workaround at the moment. It would be best to follow activity in each bug report if one is posted.

Thanks, Aaron

same problem here, with a (hardware) belgian AZERTY keyboard... just for info, some other third party android browsers do not have this issue (tested with dolphin HD 6 and opera mobile)
