My tabs continually say "Connecting" even though the web pages are fully downloaded. "New Tab" and "Search" tabs work correctly, but web pages don't including this one.

The main tab says "Start" with a circle spinning. All the tabs within say connecting with spinning circles. Tabs that are not active are shown in red. Doesn't affect browsing. When I list all tabs with the button on the right, it says that all tabs are "Connecting". It happens even when I close the browser and start a new one.

I'm on Windows Vista Service Pack 2, dual core Pentium 64 bit with 6G memory, Firefox 5.0.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
