I need to replace 5.0 with 3.6 so that I can take a class - it doesn't seem to have worked.,

I went thru the link that I saw somewhere in your doc to replace 3.6 - but it still says 5.0.1. Do I need to delete 5.0 first? If so, how?

Install Portable Firefox 3.6.x to your hard drive to use at that website, and continue using Firefox 5 elsewhere.

While going back to an older version of Firefox usually works fine, depending upon the add-ons you may have installed, you could end up with compatibility issues with add-ons after reverting to an older version.

Portable Firefox installs completely separate from the regular Firefox installation, and won't affect your current Firefox version.
