Can't use print feature - works with explorer, not with Firefox

Can't print with firefox. I get a save file screen and when I close it out, it says "we have hit an unexpected printing error. I can print with explorer.

The article Ed referred to is the best you can do in Firefox.

The following is not a Firefox solution, and would not be available to all Firefox users:

I do very little printing, but I normally do print preview first for several reasons, if it doesn't look right in Print Preview, I simply switch to the same page in Internet Explorer using the "Launchy" extension and print from IE.

The "Launchy" extension really only works well in Windows, because it gets the information from the Windows operating system, and it is not a proper Firefox solution, so it would not appear in the article. Firefox printing problems are a major problem and have been ignored since Firefox first came out. Making a selection before printing helps a lot.
