bold textHello, this problem developed it seems of it's own accord. However, my dogs have a nasty habit of stepping on my keyboard so they may have changed something by doing that.

I'm running Windows Vista 32 bit Home Premium w/Firefox 5.0. When I look at an auction on E-Bay there is no script, or writing, there are only pictures that are viewable. Weird that it just happened arbitrarily. It was the same on re-start until I restarted Firefox in safe mode?

Thanks,

Shannon Smith

P.S. I'm in safe mode now and do not have a URL to provide, sorry.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

  • Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
  • Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
