i uploaded a new version of www.hemnopet.org and firefox in not displaying home page consitantly. it sometimes displays another page in the site which was also changed today.

today i created a new version of www.hemopet.org it displays fine in internet explorer. people are telling me that in firefox they are not seeing the true home page all the time but another page that was changed today. sometimes they see the home page and sometimes they don't. they cleared their cache. i see the homepage correctly. what is going on?

The first to do in case of problems with not seeing an updated page is to reload and bypass the cache.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.

  • Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
