I wanted to upgrade Firefox from 3.6 to 6, and found out that the DigitalPersona extension HP provides with the fingerprint software is still not compatible with newer versions of Firefox. Sadly I had to ditch Firefox 4 because of this a while back. How did Mozilla manage to break the backwards compatibility for extensions?
