when I go to gmail, I sign in with my name and password...in the also tried the other suggestions and they don't work either. So... I removed fire fox and reinstalled it and nothing has changed. FYI I can get onto gmail and see my mail via explorer.

when I go to gmail, I sign in with my name and password...in the heading it says: https://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1 I see the word loading.... then I get the screen that says "this is taking longer than usual--ty reloading the page... I try that and still I can't get on to gmail... I have also tried the other suggestions and they don't work either. So... I removed fire fox and reinstalled it and nothing has changed. FYI I can get onto gmail and see my mail via explorer. editWhen it started to do this I tried to make it go away and maybe did something I should not have? No,I dont' know/remember what I did

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
  • Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.
  • Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "Tools > Options" if the menu bar is hidden.

I went back onto gmail from explorer... the address is the same only from explorer it ends in /?shva=1#

the pound sign is extra
