When I sign in to yahoo I have a custom security sign in seal that lets me know that I'm actually on yahoo and not some phoney site. Since I upgraded my firefox to the newest edition, whenever I sign off of yahoo my security sign seal disappears

Trying to find out why my yahoo sign in seal keeps disappearing every time I sign off of yahoo and shut down firefox. When I bring firefox back up and go back to yahoo my sign in seal is no longer there and I have to create a new one

I don't know the answer, but I can say I had the problem once and after I reloaded the seal, it stays put. Maybe you have something checked that clears everything when you shut Mozilla down. Still with IE9 and Windows 7...waiting for Mozilla to clean up the 6.0 edition!

Is that seal saved in a browser cookie or otherwise like a Flash cookie (object)?

You can try to recreate the seal as suggested above.
