When i launch websites from desktop shortcuts they appear without the normal colors. They all have a white background with bright blue text and some black text. I cannot change or adjust the colors or themes. In my home page when i click customize i get lined black boxes which do not function. I have spent hours checking my desktop color settings and Firefox troubleshooting/help without success. this all happened when I had to reinstall windows xp. I keep getting the famous microsoft error "ox80070002"

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings.

Thank you for your quick reply and solution. It worked perfectly! I spent numerous hours and other people's time for nothing. I should have used Firefox help from the beginning.
