I'm having this problem, too. I can hit Ctrl-F5 to force a refresh, and they'll come up. But I hate having to do that every time I go to a new page. I've disabled Adblock and Adblock +.
im now not able to use facebook chat either
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings.
I have exactly the same problem as tess37 with the graphics of the maps in the facebook game Glory of Rome (http://apps.facebook.com/gloryofrome) since upgrading from Firefox 6.02 to 7.0 (and now 7.01). The main "city view"in the game is fine, but the world map (an important part of the game) is totally messed up. Both Glory of Rome and Kingdoms of Camelot are games by Kabam (as are Dragons of Atlantis and Global Warfare). As far as I can see the background images of the maps in Glory of Rome have the file format .png
It's still working fine when I switch to Google Chrome v14.0.835.186 or Internet Explorer v8.0.6 001.18702 I'm running Windows XP Home edition with SP2, in case that matters.
Below have have attached 3 images to illustrate the problem. The 1st image shows the map as it ought to be (using Internet Explorer 8). The 2nd image is what it currently looks like in Firefox 7.01 and the 3rd images shows what happens when I scroll the map in Firefox 7.01
Gewysig op
FYI - The solutions suggested in "Website colors are wrong" do not solve the problem.
i agree, solutions are useless added a screenshot so u can c i have same prob
I had to take my computer in for repair this week for an unrelated problem. The repair people updated my Firefox from 4 something to 7.0. So I called them and asked them for their advice.
They installed a program called "CCleaner" (freeware). It cleans up all your caches, temp internet files, cookies, histories, everything. They said to run that.
It worked great. Everything is loading properly now. I hate to plug someone else's product, so try cleaning out all your caches and see if that works for you.
No, cleaning/deleting cache, history and temp files does not help with this problem.
It appears to be a major bug in Firefox 7 related to reading certain graphic image files (noteably with the .png extention) under Windows XP.
No, cleaning/deleting cache, history and temp files does not help with this problem. i agree i have done all the above uninstalled reinstalled and only to end up with same problem,so any idea if firefox are going to fix their bug?
