Each time I open Firefox, a small window shows up, and the home page will not appear until I deal with the window.

It is headed "User Account Control." A line says, "A program needs your permission to continue." Then it says, "If you started this program, continue."

Then it says, "Firefox Software Updater

                     Mozilla Corporation"

At the bottom is a button for details, and buttons for Continue and Cancel.

mha007, that worked, thanks. I opened it as administrator and Firefox installed some updates that ended the problem. Thanks again.
