is it possible to combine live bookmark folders? (eg i would like to view a mix/list of my CNN, BBC, and NY Times headlines by simply clicking on one folder on my firefox browser/window)

i have tried, but the only option i have when subscribing to a new live bookmark/newsfeed is to create a new folder in my browser window or to add it to a folder in my bookmarks folder (ie it lets me add it to favorites/bookmarks folders that i have created, but not to any other live bookmarks folders)... it's not a big deal, i just think it would be WAY more convenient if it were possible...

No, that is not possible. A live feed is downloaded as an XML file from the servers and the links in that file are shown a a smart folder. You would have to copy links manually from each feed folder to another folder to have them in one list.

Maybe there is an extension that allows to combine several feed items.

Right click on Bookmarks Toolbar; select "New Folder"; name it; click "Add"; drag live bookmarks into the folder.
