myheritage.com has taken over my Google desktop! Went to programs and uninstalled it. It's gone from the programs list, but is STILL on my Google desktop, and everything else that's supposed to be there is not there. Help!

I thought I was just USING myheritage.com, but apparently it installed on my computer, and shows up on my Google desktop in two ways: (1) http://search.myheritage.com and (2) as a yellow bar across the top of the white space that says My Heritage Search. I found it in listed in the Control Panel, clicked on it, and uninstalled it. It completed, doesn't show up in the Control Panel anymore, but is still on my Google desktop -- and everything that I had on Google desktop before is gone!
