Firefox version3.6.24 just appeared on both my Macs and downloaded itself. I know we had a later version going . Is this some kind of spam attack? How do i change it back and do I lose anything?

Firefox 4 versions and later do not run on a PowerPC Mac. Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
