only recently i am unable to sign into bt yahoo mail or yahoo mail its ok in Internet explorer have tried resetting pass words & reinstalling firfox

just recently I am unble to sigh in to bt yahoo ot yahoo via firefox but I can sign in no problems via interent explorer the password on bt & yahoo have been chane to try & correct this problem bt have informed me that it is the firefox browser causing the proble I have been told to reinstall firefox which I have done but this does not make any diffrence a different friend has told me to reinstal a earlier version of fire fox i am tring to sell how to do this but after three day tring to sign into yahoo via firefox i am begining to give up & possible might transferr every thing to internet explorer if i can not use firefox for emails

That issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Well I cannot believe it I have had bt on the case even thou they pointed out that they are not allowed to do work on firefox & they were unable to fix the problem. I had given up & started to use Internet explorer when your tips came through I tied the first ones then used *https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Cannot+log+in+to+websites

used enable cookies for websites

firefox-tools-options-privacy-use custom setting for history-click exemptions-removed Yahoo from blocked site & wow its now works Thanks very much now life is a bit easier Thanks Again

Clearing cache and cookies etc will not work. You need to uninstall version 13 and reinstall Version 12. Ensure you backup your profile first and when reinstalling opt to keep profiles
