I installed the latest foxfire 8.0.1 on my computer and every time I restart my computer, or my computer sits for a long period of time, I have to reinstall foxfire. I've even tried an older version of foxfire and it does the same thing. When I reinstall foxfire, it pops right on and works fine, even if I go off and restart it. I've also tried uninstalling foxfire and deleting the folder and all it contents and reinstalling it.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
