I updated to 8.0.1 and lost all bookmarks and settings and add-ons. It asked if i wanted to import from Explorer and I said no, but there was no prompt to import from prior Firefox version. I've been through the material here and nothing works--I've checked for saved profile and there are only two defaults dated after the update. I've looked for backed-up or saved html bookmark files and can not find any. Nor can I find a place.sq[xxx] file, as one article here suggests. I've now reinstalled a backup of earlier version (7.0.1) and now e evrything is missing even from there. Help! Thanks!
