When I open FF, the first page (my home page) opens.

However, the "+" prompt for a new tab no longer responds.

When I click an URL in an email, the new tab opens automatically, but the new (second) tab will not open manually.

How can I repair the above please?

Hi willgolden,

Maybe it's because of the Ask.com toolbar? Check the discussion here: Can't open new tab

Hi Madasan. Yes it was the Ask toolbar, thank you. How come such a simple app cannot be made compatible with the world's most used browser?

Hi Wilfred. Thanx4 coming back. I tried the simple suggestion first and it worked.
