Why does my Firefox keeps glitching, whiting out and blacking out whenever I do anything?

My Firefox browser blacks out and whites out when I do any functions within the browser, whether it be going through the bookmarks, scrolling a page, browsing the top menu, or typing. It also puts lines and glitchy graphics throughout the page when I am scrolling. I'm not sure why this is happening, and I tried reinstalling Firefox and it continues to create these problems.

Hi,

You can try to deselect Use hardware acceleration when available in Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Advanced > General. Options > Advanced

Hardware Acceleration

Also, try to start Firefox up in Safe Mode, that will help determine if it is an add-on or customization that could be causing the problem.

If disabling Hardware acceleration works, then try to update your graphics driver (instructions are at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers)
