I have FF 11.0. When I try to view a .swf file, the audio stops midway in the playback. It does not happen at the same link with IE.

How many of the 40 pages does Firefox play for you?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

It plays about 12 pages with audio then just shows the pages from there on (no audio). It works properly with IE and Safari and SHOULD work with FF. I shouldn't have to post instructions on how to make it work with FF. If I do anything I will have to post, with the link, that it just doesn't work with FF and refer those viewing the file to use IE or Safari. I wouldn't think FF would want me sending users to other browsers.
