Why can't I download Firefox 12 on my computer when I meet all system requirements?
I am running Windows 7 on my laptop, and am currently using Internet Explorer 9 as a web browser. I want to switch to Firefox. When I try to download Firefox 12, I get an error that the setup file couldn't be downloaded. The error won't tell me why it won't download, and I've double-checked all my download settings and system requirements; nothing seems out of place. Any suggestions?

- It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files.
- Try to Disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
- see this article -> http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_save_or_download_files#Temporarily_disable_antivirus_or_update_security_software
-> Download latest Firefox from one of the following links:

- http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/
- http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

-> Install Firefox 12 as described in this article -> How to install Firefox on Windows
Check and tell if its working.
