When I go to a news page on Yahoo ( or other sites) there are two little spinning wheels near the top of the page that never stop. I can not watch a slide show or even manually "flip" through the photos. There is no longer a "stop loading" button so I am stuck there. It is a damn Facebook log in add!!! Chrome and Internet explore work just fine.. If you can not fix this I will be switching to one of them.. it is VERY annoying

Works fine in safe mode. Cache and cookies were of no help. But when I disabled AVG Do Not Track it loaded the Facebook add and seems to be working fine.. Thank you very much

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
