I am currently using Aurora and my Yahoo mail asks me to sign in every 10-15mins. Probably, the cookie expires for some reason.

The default cookie timeout is 2 weeks. I have tried and it works perfectly on other browsers and the current version of Firefox. The only problem is with Aurora and this issue started with an update about a month back.

Please help or direct me to a proper channel where I can raise this issue or file a bug, may be.

This issue can be cause by the (default) connection settings.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy" to see if that works.

Did you try to delete the cookies.sqlite file or run Firefox in Safe Mode?

  • Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Nothing has worked. Now with the F13 update, this problem has crept into Firefox too.

Great. This worked. Waited for 24hrs and the above solution seems to have worked. Thanks cor-el.
