Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F). If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear. You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.

Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"

  • Open the Customize window to set which toolbar items to display
    • View > Toolbars > Customize
    • Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout
  • If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
  • If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up

hi cor-el, thank you for the clear instructions.

i have followed your instructions. i have double-checked and my firefox is not in full screen and under View > Toolbars > Customize, i could see that my toolbar is checked.

I also tried to "Restore Default Set" buttion and restart the firefox browser. but sadly, i am still not able to view the toolbar.

i wonder if FF15 version has disable us from viewing the toolbar?

Do you see anything from the user interface?

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

You can try to do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) before reinstalling a fresh copy of Firefox and possibly also create a new profile.

Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

  • Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you will also lose your personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.

Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.

If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.

hi cor-el, the issue below has been rectified. we have checked and toolbar now support FF15. we just need to update FF15 to the latest update, version 15.0.

previously it was version 14.0.1 and the toolbar was not displayed.
