Just installed the latest version of PC Firefox (17.0.1), tried accessing graphs in www.dailyfx.com/charts/netdaniachart and get an error as follows:

"AccessControlException-access denied ("java.net.SocketPermission""81.89.26.204:80""connect,resolve")

Firefox displays a message in the lower left corner of the screen (Waiting for realtimenews.dailyfx.com) and locks up-won't respond to any command. Please reply to secrod@xxxxxxx.xxx

Try a direct connection.

  • Control Panel > Java > General tab > "Network Settings...": "Direct Connection" (enable)

Unsuccessfully tried all the settings in that tab, DIRECT, BROWSER... nogo- continue to get the same error.

Try to clear the Java cache.

Control Panel > Java > General tab > "Temporary Internet Files" > Settings > Delete Files
