How do you restore shrunken content in a tab window?

While in one of my tabs, I must have accidentally clicked something because one of my tab windows now has its content shrunken in size in the middle of the screen. When this first happened, it showed my content in one of 4 vertical panes (side-by-side) instead of one. I deleted that tab, then opened a new tab and went to that website again. Now there is only one pane, but the content of the web page is still shrunken and in the middle of the screen. How do I fix this?

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

Thanks so much! The Ctrl+0 command solved it. I still don't know where to find View, though.

You're welcome.

The View menu can be found on the menu bar.

  • Press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.

You get the orange Firefox menu button if the menu bar is hidden.

Ahhh -- the Alt key did it. Thanks again!
