There is no 'save as'; there is no menu bar. The limited menu bar in the lower left of the phone does not cover this.

Check in Tools - Options - Downloads, View & Edit Actions. Look for a listing for "txt" in the Extension column. Highlight it and click Change Action. See what it says. Either change the action or (in the previous dialog) remove the action. hope it helped

AFAIK then the Firefox mobile version only allows to save web pages as a PDF file, so you won't be able to do this.

Thanks firefoxman1462, but I don't have a View & Edit Actions option. I have a Galaxy Slll. On the lower left of the phone I can pick a menu. I get Tools/Downloads, but no options other than that. Thanks for trying.

AFAIK? Thanks cor-el. Then I just can't save web pages as .txt files? That's too bad; seems like that should be an option in a 'smart' phone browser. Thanks for your help.
