Using firefox to use TogetherTube for a show marathon with friends, and it says I need javascript enabled. My browser says it IS enabled. What do I do?

I've cleared the browser cache and cookies, and I've tried restarting my computer. I've tried starting Firefox in safe mode, the same problem occurs. When I reset firefox, it screwed up firefox so badly that it wouldn't even let me access google because of "security" issues. So I restored my computer, and now I'm back at where I started. With everything working, even youtube videos...but not Togethertube or sites that are similar.

Anyone else have any ideas?

First, check that java is up to date. If you still have a problem, try going to mozilla.org and downloading a clean copy of Firefox.
