With the new version, I lost my address bar. Just have a search engine there now. Whats the deal?

With the latest version of firefox, I no longer have an address bar. All that I have is a search engine bar, which goes across the top of my page. I deleted it & reinstalled it, but I get the same results. Where did my address bar go?

hello lhunton, you could try to restore the default toolbar set like it's described in the following article: Navigation buttons like back, home, bookmarks and reload are missing

Philipp,

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't solve the problem the way you suggested, but it took me to the right area to solve my problem. I finally set it to the default setting. I was afraid I would lose my bookmarks when I did this, as it said it was a possibility, but it saved them, so all turned out well & I now have my address bar back.
