For a couple weeks I have not been able to open up Firefox without clicking on the "Open in safe mode". I've read and updated all my drivers, add-ons, Norton, windows 7 updates, etc. this did not fix the problem. I tried disabling all the add-ons and reopening it, this did not prevent the crash either and I had to open in safe mode.

here is the latest crash ID Crash ID: bp-048a99c2-73be-46b3-ae09-adb2b2130704

thanks,

hello justin, thanks for reporting with your crash report ID. ironically this issue might be caused by a recent windows update (KB2670838). until there's a fix for it or an updated graphics driver that can solve the issue, please disable hardware acceleration in firefox.

while in safemode go to firefox > options > advanced > general & switch off hardware acceleration.
