Hi. Im an italian student. I dont remember very well but there was a time that FF broke bounds with my accounts like amazon and outlook.com(ex live.com) Since this moment, every time i try to change the bar at top of outlook.com, the color return blue. But if I open outlook.com on IE, i see my orange theme. I try to delete all my chronology and cookies but the problem persists.

Hello,

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.

(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)

  • On Windows you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
  • On Mac you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the option key while starting Firefox.
  • On Linux you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by quitting Firefox and then going to your Terminal and running: firefox -safe-mode (you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
  • Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.

FirefoxSafeMode

Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode" Safe Mode Fx 15 - Win

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, or hardware acceleration, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.

In safe mode the problem is risolved. I tried the guide but the problem persists in normal mode. I enabled theme and my 2 add-ons. If i change the color in IE the new color remains the same when i open the site in s.m. FF and viceversa(s.m. FF -> IE) but if i return to n.m. FF it becomes default and then if i open outlook.com on IE the color on IE return default too. If i change in orange on IE, when i open n.m. FF it return default, and therefore also on IE. I dont know if i was clear.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Try to disable color management to test if it is caused by a problem with color management.
You can set the gfx.color_management.mode pref to 0 on the about:config page to disable Color Management.
You need to close and restart Firefox to make the change effective.

I set gfx.color_management.mode pref to 0 but no one changes. Firefox asks to me to reset itself and i do this. I lost my two extentions and theme. I open live.com with the (new)default firefox but nothing. all the same. The problem is my firefox and my account together. Take one at one they work. Help me...

What are the cookies settings for the domain (live.com) that shows in the location bar?

You can inspect and manage the permissions for all domains on the about:permissions page or for the domain in the currently selected tab by clicking the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location bar and "More Information" to open "Page Info" and go to the Permissions tab.
