Lightbeam is installed, active, yet doesn't show that I have been to any website or have had any activity.

When I click on " Show Lightbeam " it opens a page in my browser. Nothing as far as activity shows on the page. It's just black where the legend symbols should appear. I've checked in the add on manager and it is acitve. My add on toolbar is checked yet I have no icon for Lightbeam. It looks like the program isn't having my web traffic pass through it.

You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove all (older) version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.
